I've just filed another bug in Trac, and wanted to ping the list so it
didn't go unnoticed:

Audio backend opened in host byte order format despite requesting S16_LE

It has been around two weeks since I filed this ticket with a patch, and
since I hadn't heard anything I thought I'd ping the list and see if I can
raise some interest.
