Hi all,
I emailed the list yesterday, but I wasn't subscribed and the message got
stuck in the moderation queue. I have now canceled that message and
subscribed, so this one should get through.
I've filed a couple of bugs (with patches included) in Trac, and was told it
was best to follow them up with an email to the mailing list. Since then,
the following two have been closed and the patch committed to SVN (thanks!):
sa_stream_get_write_size reports incorrect value (also includes waveapi implementation of get_write_size)
http://trac.annodex.net/ticket/427
sa_stream_drain implementation for alsa, mac, and waveapi
http://trac.annodex.net/ticket/428
The third one:
sa_stream_t not freed in waveapi's implementation of sa_stream_destroy
http://trac.annodex.net/ticket/426
...is still open. The changes to closeAudio need attention by someone
familiar with the waveapi backend and the Windows API. Worst case, I can
submit a simpler patch that leaves closeAudio alone and only includes the
obviously correct fix to sa_stream_destroy.
(Note: I filed them all against the AnnodexFirefoxExtension component
because I couldn't find a libsydneyaudio component and I understand
libsydneyaudio was originally split out of AnnodexFirefoxExtension.)
Cheers,
-mjg
